I'd take Davis over Rogers or Ohka. Not that I'd really want to start him, but if you are desperate........

Abraham Lilncoln is a good bet to start against the Tigers. I would start Davis.
Rest in peace Mitch Hedberg. I name my fantasy team "Buoyancy of Citrus", in your honor.

Man, go get Cliff Lee to start on Thursday. The Tigers' offense has done well lately (*gasp*, did I just say that?), They scored 5 runs tonight and lit up Shields (as me and pkarr and many others are well aware of now and would like to forget that start) on Sunday. Davis will probably win, but it might not come cheap as you'd expect in ERA and WHIP.

He's not going to make the start.

Indians scratch rookie Davis from start

August 27, 2003
CLEVELAND (AP) -- Indians rookie Jason Davis was scratched from his start Wednesday night against Detroit because of fatigue in his right shoulder.

Davis, winless since June 29, underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which did not reveal any damage. However, Cleveland skipped his start as a precaution and said it has not yet decided when he will pitch next.

Terry Mulholland was to face the Tigers on Wednesday.

Davis, 23, is 7-10 with a 4.60 ERA, but is 0-4 in his last nine starts. He has pitched 154 2-3 innings this season and is on pace to throw 190 innings. He pitched 162 1-3 innings last season.
