Mark Prior, the bastian of pitching excellence amongst evil

All you Wolf, Clemens, Moyer, Stephenson and Perez owners, I feel for you, really I do. I'm not here to lament their downfalls but instead praise my man Prior for rising up against this swelling tide of pitching mediocrity. Keep it up Ace!

8 innings, 3 hits. 1 walk, 1 er, 6 k's. Not bad so far. ;-)
Yes doctor, I am sick.

And he gets pulled after that, avoiding the meat of the Cardinals order (which scored 3 runs off Farnsworth on an Edmonds 2 run shot and a sac fly). Great how that worked out. ;-D

From The Mercury News' Hits and Misses:

Aug. 27

"Mark Prior improved to 5-0 with two complete games and a 0.69 ERA since coming off the disabled list Aug.4."

He's killing me this week to maybe eliminate me from the 2nd round playoffs and he's got one more start. :~(

I'm getting corrected by a guy who spells a word wrong in his own name :-?

It's all good. Long as we all recognize that this thread is about Prior's dominance.
