Heads up! Halladay to start @BOS TODAY!

Postby ramble2 » Wed Aug 27, 2003 1:36 pm

Yahoo has him scheduled to throw @CLE on Friday, but apparently he's been bumped up in the rotation to throw today. Towers was originally scheduled to start today, but that got tossed out the window when he had to come in for long relief duty while the A's handed the Blue Jays their collective ass in a bag.

As much as I enjoyed watching the A's wallop, this is not good news for Halladay owners. Halladay at Cleveland is a good start; Halladay at Boston is not such a good start. Innings are becoming a more and more precious commodity as the season winds down (I know, I know, innings are just as valuable now as they are at the beginning of the season...). I am going to sit Halladay for this one.

SWEET. I don;t own him, but this might absoloutely pin one of my cheif opponents. He had both clemens and odalis in the starting lineup last night. Now if he picks up on this, he will probably start him, and here's hoping he gets creamed. otherwise, at least he misses out on a cream puff start that can help erase last nights mistakes.

Now my other opponent has may and leiter ptiching tonight, while I have schillign, nomo and penny. I hope it is go time...

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Thanks for the update!

I'll risk it and start him alongside Woody Williams ... I really need strikeouts right now.
