Kim needs to be solid if Boston has a chance to make the playoffs. Plus they will need him in the playoffs if they get there.

Kim didn't look all that bad throwing before. I think Boston's defense hurt him.

What I noticed last night was that Kim finally started working the ball moving AWAY from lefties and in on righties. He kept relying on that frisbee slider running in on lefties and away from righties and, though its a great pitch, throw 3 of them to a major league hitter and you're screwed. he threw a couple nasty oens to....i think it was Hinske..that just FLEW away from his bat to off the plate outside, which is impossible to hit when youre lookin for that frisbee coming right at your hands.

He started doing better mixing it up, and its paid off in his last two appearances.
Rest in peace Mitch Hedberg. I name my fantasy team "Buoyancy of Citrus", in your honor.

Hmm...thats funny...didnt take the entire baseball world more than 3 bad outings to convince the baseball world that he was a NONquality start each week.

Thats not a shot at you demo, just an observation that sometimes certain guys (i.e. any boston reliever) get written off way too quickly. Try reading a Jim Donaldson article in the Providence Journal (rhode island newspaper) and you'll see what I mean.
