The Indians are starting to look at the young guys. They are done for the year. They have nothing to lose by giving Carmona a chance.

Yep, he allowed like 2 runs in 18 innings or something before the past 2 days. He's got a lot longer leash than a 2-day losing streak

I wish Young 8 saw these posts and educated fantasy owners, he's ripping apart Carmona in the Injury/Player Update forum (deservably so for the past 2 days) but he thinks Carmona is trash and won't amount to anything.

So far I would say that is a pretty accurate assessment. Tribe does not generate a lot of save opps and this guy has been pummeled the last 2 times out.

You have to look at Carmona's stats before tonight and yesterday and realize how dominant he was, you can't write him off after 2 bad games in a row.

Plenty of guys that did well in MR and got shelled as closers because they could not handle the pressure. Hawkins was one. Coffey is another. Whether Carmons is one is TBD, but so far it does not look very promising.

My thoughts exactly. Mota is another big one that comes to mind.
