Hmmm, I just checked the scouting report on him and it seems like hes trying to change into a strikout pitcher.

BA says that he "values groundballs as much as strikeouts", he "doesn't miss many bats and probably never will", and that the indians "envision him developing along the lines of Jake Westbrook". He also struck out only 401 in 641 innings during his minor league career and 49 in 83 innings last year.

That certainly doesnt suggest the kind of wild strikout pitcher we've seen during his time as a closer. Could the switch to the closer role be affecting the way he pitches and causing him to overthrow and go away from the type of pitcher he has been throughout his career?
