Trans, I have "went for broke" in the finals. I've dropped some solid pitchers and have benched the rest.

You have nothing to lose right? UNLESS the guy you are playing picks up a few of the players you've dropped. Nothing will feel worse than getting beat by someone you've dropped :-t

tie race for saves in one league a guy picked up Beck and Urbina

Beck hasn't had a save in over a month and Urbina last I checked wasn't closer.

Just remember that there is still a week left in Yahoo finals. It's only halfway done. So if your opponent is beating you by 5 HRs, there's no reason you're team can't catch up. I wouldn't resort to dropping players until a few more days have passed.

I dropped Ichiro in favor of Carl Crawford since Ichiro has done literally nothing in the last month. Needless to say, my opponent in the finals picked him up. It's very close, and I'm sweating it out.
