It annoys me that this is discussed every year. PUJOLS PUJOLS PUJOLS. Has been for the last two years and will be for the next 5.

People said "Beltran!" and "ARod!" in the past and will say "Soriano!" this year, but with Pujols you will get a top 5 guy GUARANTEED, and more likely than not, the #1 or 2 guy come season's end. No one else is even close to that consistent.

So ignore the people who tell you to draft someone else. Maybe Pujols won't finish as the #1 overall player in the league next year. (I actually don't think he has either of the last two.) But it's a crapshoot who else will finish up there. With Pujols, you get consistancy.
