MLB All-star Tour

David Wright hit a HR with Mauer on base with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game. Game ended 7-7 so I guess they don't play extras.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Wait a sec … these games aren’t going to be broadcast (or rebroadcast, given time zone differences) on regular TV, like ESPN2?

I looked around but couldn't find anything other than the MLB.TV package which is ~$15. I think the radio broadcast is free. :-/

That's ridiculous. When is the next one? How many games? What time?

11/02, 4 a.m. Tokyo Dome, Tokyo MLB 7, Yomiuri 7
11/03, 4 a.m. Tokyo Dome, Tokyo MLB vs. NPB
11/04, 4:30 a.m. Tokyo Dome, Tokyo MLB vs. NPB
11/05, 4:30 a.m. Tokyo Dome, Tokyo MLB vs. NPB
11/6 Travel day
11/7, 4 a.m. Kyocera Dome, Osaka MLB vs. NPB
11/8, 4 a.m. Yahoo Dome, Fukuoka MLB vs. NPB

I'm a little worried that the MLB team couldn't solidly beat the Yomiuri Giants. That was just an exhibition game against a single Japanese team; not the All-Stars they are going to play for the next 5 games. Yes, the Giants are considered to be the Yankees of Japanese baseball, but thats no excuse.

The pitching staff we sent goes something like:

Bronson Arroyo
Erik Bedard
Chris Capuano
Brian Fuentes
Clay Hensley
Ray King
John Lackey
John Maine
Mike Myers
Joe Nathan
Scot Shields
Chris Young

I think I'd feel pretty hopeless if that were my fantasy pitching staff much less the staff of the "best" MLB has to offer.
