Which AL East star is most likely to be traded?

Vote now!

I think it's none of the above. The Sox, O's and Yankees won't find adequate compensation for Manny, Miggy or ARod, Sheffield's tirades over the contract he negotiated for himself will keep teams away, the Rays are going to ask for a fellow GM's first born son for Crawford.

The one guy who I think could potentially be moved the most is Wells, if a team offers a bonafide starter like C. Zambrano in return. That said, I put it at less than likely that happens.

All talk, no action.

Discuss.

I voted for Sheffield as I think Sheffield is gone.I'm of the opinion that there is no way the Yanks pick up the option on this fool without having something lined up.

I would agree with Sheffield. The Yanks are no longer in need of his services and with so many teams interested, it would make sense for them to get young pitching help in return.
Kudos to GiantsFan14 for the sig.

I think Sheff is gone, and this may be the year that Manny gets traded too.

I'll also say Sheff is history. I can't imagine the Yanks putting up with that fool for another year and picking up his option only makes sense if they believe a deal is imminent.

I completely agree.

I don't think Shef goes anywhere until the Yanks are more sure of Giambi's health.

I think Sheff is gone for sure, especially after his post-playoff comments about Joe torre and now his latest issues, not wanting to play 1b for us. The Yankees O was great without Matsui and Sheffield, and Giambi wasn't very consistent anyway. If the Yankees can get some decent pitching for Sheffield, which I believe they can, don't see how Cashman doesn't make the trade.

I don't think any of Manny, Arod, Tejada, Wells, or Crawford get traded this offseason. I do think Sheffield will be moved during the winter meetings and I would not be suprised to see Crawford and/or Wells moved next July.
