I was sad to see that not only was Wash leaving the A's, he was going to a rival. I'm glad he's getting a chance to manage, I just with it had been with the A's.

As do I. I think he would have been a good fit for the system and also if part of the problem with Macha was player relations then why not hire a guy within the organization who both players and fans alike love. Oh well, too late either way, I think the A's are going to look towards Manny Acta (spelling?) the Mets 3B coach.
