why is there soooooooooo many errors being comited by the teams in the playoffs????? are the players nervous? these errors are losing games for teams and they shouldn't be happening by major leaguers!!!

you must be referring to atlanta. they make a lot of errors and the crowds can be disruptive so i guess its just the playoff atmosphere

or could it be the Yankee errors? Bernie's in game 1 is understandable considering the wicked English on Torii's hit, and Soriano's in game 1 was hustle-driven....but I know what you mean. Seems like a lot more sloppy play than usual.
Did you know there are no such things as "white" or "black" people?

yeah the errors are annoying me too. the Little Leaguers in the LLWS made less errors than this.

i'm only assuming, i wouldn't watch the LLWS if my life depended on it :-t

There's a lot of pressure on the guys to win. When one mistake can make or break the game and shift the tide of the series, everyone gets a little nervous. I expect the level of play to get better as the playoffs progress.

yes, that was going to be my second point, there is a lot of pressure (especially on the sox and cubs) to win. also,

the a's have had tons of 1st round exits,

the giants (were) defending NL champions,

the marlins could be another miracle wild-card team,

the yankees are the yankees, but now george is pissed.

the twins could have been last year's angels,

and atlanta wanted to avoid 0-13.

tons of pressure on all of these ballclubs.
