But it is the first day of Spring Training Games. It's not that big of deal.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

Pitched much better today.
From Rotoworld:
Mark Buerhle showed improvement in his second start of the spring, holding the Brewers to one run in three innings.

Bill Hall's solo homer was the only damage. Buehrle struck out three and walked none. He allowed four runs and six hits in two innings in his previous start against the Rockies.

Any predictions for Buehrle? He's been forgotten in most early mock drafts. I think if he can get his ERA down close to or below 4 he can win alot of games. If he stays healthy and can keep hitters off balance rather than getting knocked around like in the second half of last year, I think he can put up good numbers.

16 W, 4.20 ERA 1.30 WHIP 150 K.

I've always remembered him as a consistent workhorse type of pitcher, a strong #3 pitcher for fantasy. Too optimistic?

A lot of people think workhorse = injury about to happen and last year sort of supports that idea. I'm still avoiding him myself.

The only good thing is that he is going really late almost forgotten about in 12 team drafts I've been in, i have gotten him with the last pick in a few of my leagues. I figure he is a good value as the 250+ player taken. He prolly won't even be drafted so you could gamble and try and grab him off waivers later if he is still looking good in ST or early april.

EDIT: He also is turning 27 and is in his contract year, if you believe those things.

Yeah, I know...another beatdown today
From Rotoworld:
Mark Buehrle was roughed up once again Saturday, surrendering six runs in four innings against the Rockies.

Maybe Buehrle asked his agent to make a proposal to the White Sox because he's starting to realize another subpar year is on the way. Buehrle has allowed 11 runs and 15 hits in nine innings this spring.

I never understood why people liked him so much anyway. Even though I think he is a giant jackass and a big mouth, personally feelings aside, he was never nearly as good as his people made him out to be.
