Alex Gordon, 3B KC
News: Kansas City Royals third baseman Alex Gordon, a touted prospect the team hopes to build around, will be sidelined for a few games with a sore shoulder. Royals manager Buddy Bell said Gordon apparently hurt his shoulder diving for a ball against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday night. Bell said Gordon, last season's minor league player of the year, would probably have an MRI, but the problem did not appear serious. "He doesn't really know when he did it. He just woke up this morning and it was stiff," Bell said Saturday. "We're going to shut him down for a couple of days."

You might not want to draft him today.
