Players you won't touch

Why Peralta? He seems like he's due to have a bounce back season?

Also players like Chipper and Bonds, if they are late round values isn't better to have their offensive numbers to start the season and then just drop them if they aren't putting up the numbers.

in case you guys weren't aware.

:-?

This would imply that really no one effects your average in H2H...

The people I just forget about are Dunn, A. Jones, Wang, Mauer, V-Mart, McCann, Morneau and Dice-K. Guys like Dunn, Jones, and Wang I just don't want on my team and the rest are gone far before I would draft them.

in H2H Dunn will maybe get 28 AB a week?

6/28 - .214
7/28 - .250
8/28 - .285

one or two hits out of maybe
220 AB for the week of H2H isn't going to change your avg too much.

i agree that a guy like dunn is one to avoid...I really dislike anyone who can kill your average, so add sexson and glaus to the list.

I dont know how anyone can deny the damage Dunn will do to your Avg...even in head to head leagues. Implying that he wont hurt your Avg because he only has X number of at bats per week makes no logical sense. If he bats .220 and everyone else on your team hits .300 for the week, he is still going to hurt that average quite a bit. I think we're all smart enough to see that it wont bring your entire average down to .220 but its still going to hurt.

He will damage your average in both Roto and H2H, but the extent of the damage is somewhat exaggerated.

if i remember correctly,
a H2H team should get about 220 at bats

so if the rest of your team hits .300 ( 58.8 / 196 )
and adam dunn hits .220 ( 5.3 / 24 )

your teams avg for the week is
.291 ( 64.1 / 220 )

by the way,
adam dunn isn't a .220 hitter
