Im an owner, but why would they move him from 2B? Are they going to recall Cantu? How is he going to get OF starts with Young, Crawford, Baldelli and Dukes and possibly Gomes stealing DH AB's? I would LOVE to see him get all those positions, but I just dont see it personally...

BHall getting OF.
FLopez getting 2B.

Will Hafner get 1B eligibility when he plays NL teams?

i love it. i have almost all those guys on my team..

hall, lopez, teahen, and johnson.

position flexibility is the best, especially helps since i also have hafner. rumor was he going to play some first base every now and then even before interleague to keep v-marts bat in the lineup, we'll see if thats true.

I read somewhere that Hafner will get 1B eligibility at some point this season.

Some deeper ones
Youkilis has 1B/3B/OF
Craig Wilson and Ross Gload have 1B/OF
Brad Eldred might gain OF eligibility (which would give him 1B/OF)
Alberto Callaspo could end up with 2B/3B/SS/OF... and has good avg potential w/o much else.
E. Aybar could get a similar role in LA.
Craig Counsell should get 3B eligibility (exciting I know)
Jeff Baker Might gain 1B and 3B eligibility (he already has OF)
Jason Smith might supplant Clayton and gain SS eligibility.

I had also definitely read that in the pre-season, which got me fishing (unsuccessfully) for Hafner from the guy who owns him.

I expect people know this, but our app has lots of features that sometimes get lost along the way. If you use Yahoo, there is a screen that tracks players that may be on the way to gaining eligibility at a position. If you go to the Players tab, then select Position Eligibility, you can see guys who have played games at a position where they are not currently eligible. So to find guys that might "become" shortstops, you can go to that page and sort on the shortstop played and/or started columns. As an example, right now the there are 4 guys who have played a game at shortstop who are not shortstop eligible. 1 guy who has played catcher without being eligible there. Hope this helps...

I have Youkilis as my CI, but the other guys you listed are all available. I will be keeping my eye on these situations. Thanks. ;-D
