Schmidt's fastball- 88-90 MPH

Jason Schmidt was thrown away by the Giants this past off-season. What does that tell you. His velocity is lost and won't return. It was a running joke around AT&T last year. Every time Barry hit a homerun, Jason was on the stretching table. I'm no longer concerned. I don't have him on any of my teams. He has been declining for years. The Giants didn't even want him at a reduced rate. Run before its too late.

DL, here he comes!!!

No. That's our own GM getting one over on us.

I agree man. I can't believe how far the Giants have fallen. Back in the day, the Dodgers were afraid of them. I still think the Dodgers made a huge mistake giving Schimdt that contract though, so I'm sure it will come back to bite them.

The Dodgers made a huge mistake giving Pierre a huge contract to be less efficient than Kenny Lofton.

Yah Giants let go of an aging Schmidt and you signed super overrated Zito to the biggest contract ever for a pitcher.

Yeah, the Zito contract looks like it could be pretty ugly.

Zito is just as bad as Schmidt for even more money.

Both teams made mistakes.
