Rotohog revisited

Postby Grouperman941 » Thu Apr 05, 2007 3:08 pm

This game is a lot of fun, but I am realizing that it requires a ton of time to stay competitive. 'When' to buy/sell, etc is just as important as 'who', so you can't exactly set things up ahead of time if you want to maximize your points.

Fun nonetheless.

What do you other guys think?

It is a lot of time. I'm starting to see some trends in player values, but so far that hasn't kept me from taking a bath on a lot of my acquisitions. I think to do well you would need to make almost daily roster changes to max out your games played and innings.

Right -- watch the studs' value as their game time approaches and then see it plummet as soon as the game starts.

The deals are all in the timing -- and then using your bench to grab cheap guys to hold as investments.

Happy to say I cashed in on Kendrick and Kinsler. ;-D

But I was late getting home from picking the kids up at school and took a bath on Dice-K and missed buying Howard before the game was locked. :-t

Anyone win a good weekly prize? Or in the running for $$?

I won 2 T-shirts. lol

When the trading went to pay, I didn't buy it and it became even more time-consuming.
