Seeing as you put "would be" I'm going to assume you've never seen him. It has never really occurred to me that a lot of people have never seen him play. It reminds me of how I only got to see Ripken once, have only seen ARod once, and how I've never seen Manny Ramirez (who I will finally see this year).

I was lucky enough to see him hit #601 in Florida against the Marlins, but even when I went out to San Francisco in '05 he was hurt and I didn't see him. I did get to see Clemens pitch for Houston that day though. B-)

Santana - luckily I live in Minni and have seen him many times during the last four years. I'll see him again at least twice this year.

Dice-K. Gotta see the hype first hand. I've seen everybody else on that list except Soriano and Howard. I would give up my first born to watch a game at Wrigley.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Most of the guys I really want to see this year are young pitchers. I really hope I get to catch a Cain start. As much as I enjoy watching Bonds, I'd rather go a game that Cain was starting and Bonds was on the bench for than vice versa.

Sizemore immediately comes to mind. Kid's a baller. For me, he represents what baseball should be.

Didn't he retire after last season? :-D
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
