Hi, just wanted to know what his projections are.

I don't get to watch him play much so how are his SB prowess? Thanks.

Think this is my shortest post..... ever! :-D

He will be lucky to get 5 SBs. But .300/15 is a good espectation and it can get a lot better than that. He is also hitting #3 and should accrue R and RBI at a much better pace than last year when he is was hitting #7 or #8 most often.

I'd like to bump this thread up. Not for steals, but I'm curious as to any updated projections for Markakis now that he's definitely hitting in the 3-hole.

he's a real good hitter,
i wouldn't exactly pencil him in to hit .300,
but it wouldn't be surprising at all.

i think he'll hit 25 home runs,
maybe a few more.

not really sure where he got "He will be lucky to get 5 SBs",
but markakis is quick. no, he doesn't seem to steal much,
but he's definitely fast enough to if he wanted to. he could easily steal 15 if he tried.

His first two years in the minors he stole 12 and 13, so he clearly can run. I see him more as 5-10 SBs. He should be able to top 90 runs and RBIs in the #3 hole, which should boost his ranking quite a bit, even if he slides in BA or HRs.

KFFL has him for:

70 runs
80 rbi
19 homers
3 sb
and a .280 avg

I highly doubt that was with him in the 3 hole though.

It's gotta be hard to hit with Funston clinging to your jock.
