That you, John?

The guy is a .245 career hitter...the last thing you want is your catcher annihilating your team average, especially when there are some nonatrocious C options out there, especially in the BA category.

This guy had so much upside comming up from the minor leauges. The royals got him from the astros for carlos beltran. For some reason i always had him on my watchlist because i always felt he had the potential of busting out a 25-30 hr season. Hes had a good start so far.

Don't do it.

I just picked Carlos Ruiz because Ianetta is floundering. But I held onto him as I like his future for this season. Just can't wait at this time.

He always had the potential to hit for lots of power with decent average .270ish

I want the guy to do well but hitting in the bottom third of the KC lineup isn't a very good spot.

Buck has changed his mechanics at the plate. They've mentioned he's really just "freed" up his swing and made it less mechanical. That along with LaRue pushing him for playing time has really made Buck a different looking guy this year.

With that said, I'm really skeptical that he will be much more than what we've seen from in the past. :-o I sure hope he's turned it around and have a solid career.... he was a career .300 hitter in the minors I believe, I'd have to go back and look.

Anyway, I'd keep an eye on him but I wouldn't pick him up yet because he is still splitting time with LaRue as of right now. It does look like he will start seeing the majority of playing time soon though....

Do we have to bump a player's thread when they hit a HR? First Konerko now Buck. Utley hit a HR today too. So did a lot of other people. :-t
