I think the fact that Hughes has been slow out of the gate after looking pretty human during Spring Training, it is the right call.

It's not like the Yanks see this guy as a long-term solution. He's up until they can find a real pitcher to take that role. No sense in changing the plan with Hughes because some ML guys got hurt. This is a good, non-panicked move by the Yankees, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them trade for a starter in the next few weeks.

Wrights first two starts this year

7 Innings Pitched, 3 Hits, 0 BB, 0 ER, 9 Strikeouts

7 Innings Pitched, 1 Hit, 1 BB, 0 ER, 10 Strikeouts

Last year he went 12-3 with a 1.88 ERA.

He has an amazing changeup that gets a lot of praise. He looked good against MLB hitting in spring training, and he is the hottest pitcher in the Yankees farm system right now.

He will be facing the Indians though, which is a great lineup. If he has his control, I think he will do o.k.

Who is this Chase Wright guy? Is he the love child of Chase Utley and David Wright? If he is, does he play SS between the 2 of them?
