anybody know anything about this guy? My bud is telling me to pick him up ,hes a big fan of this pitcher but I never heard of this kid. Anybody else think highly of this kid? Pitcher for Milwaukee

He's racking up K's like crazy. This is what Tim Dierkes over at RotoAuthority has to say about Vargas...

Looking at the roster in your sig though, he might be worth taking a flier on right now for you. Because of his strikeout ability, he could easily have more value than Pavano. ;-D

picked him up in two leagues cause of the Myers disaster. Dropped a so-so bat for him in both instances. Figured I'd take him for a spin, see what he does for his next 2 starts. Nothing to lose, really.
