The Miner Part 2 wrote:Ahhh, memories. I started Shawn Green that day. It was when our league had like 26 categories, so his huge day was that much better. He went 6-6, 4 homers, a single, and a double. 19 total bases. 8-o I remember sitting in bed hungover watching the update section on espnews and they kept updating his progress. Probably my favorite day of fantasy basebball.

Same here. What's funny is some guy actually dropped Green in my league and I had picked him up a week or so before the monster day. I remember it was a day game and I was at work watching it on stattracker. It went something like this:
Homerun 1:
Cool, Green hit a home run.

Homerun 2:
Whooo Hoooo... 2 home runs for Green.

Homerun 3:
No way, Green is on fire.

Homerun 4:
Can he...? Can he... ?

AWESOME!!!! NO FRIGGING WAY!!!!

:-b You're right... best fantasy day ever!!!! That 19 total bases was a MLB record, BTW.

Yeah, best fantasy day ever. I'll always have a soft spot for Green for that day.
That guy was a beast before his shoulder surgery.

The sequels never live up to the originals except for Godfather II.

I was at Mike Cameron's 4 HR game and it was amazing. He missed an all-time record 5 HR by about 10 feet (would have landed in the RF seats in front ot me).

That game did have one thing happen that will never happen again: Cameron and Bret Boone hit back-to-back HR TWICE IN THE SAME INNING! As a Mariners fan, I was loving it!

Ahhhh, memories...........
