Dick Vitale is TIRED. His pizza commercials were just nails in his coffin. No one, including Berman, comes close to Dicky V's level of suck.

Any person who does that for that long is going to have a tired act. The acts are what made ESPN famous. What are they supposed to do just stop with the catchphrases? I'd like that, but I don't think they're gonna do it!

Stuart Scott is the worst though because he uses the same slang that people stopped saying 15 years ago. He's like the dad who once was cool and still thinks it's his time... Berman at least has to keep coming up with new names.

Far better in football.

Who can forget Michael "HeeHee" Jackson, or Eric "Sleeping With Bieniemy"

Don't forget Heathcliff Slocumb "if ya got 'em"

There are some real classics there

I think it's actually Tom Jackson who makes the sound.

Oh - well that makes a lot more sense.

So, nothing he says is funny.

My favorite all time Bermanism:
Pat "North of the" Borders.
With him playing for Toronto it was just so perfect.

I heard a radio talk guy once say, "The farther removed you are from the frat house, the less you like Chris Berman."
That's probably acurate for most but at age 40 I still like his enthusiasm.

Around 15 years ago I wasted I don't know how much time comprising a list of Grateful Dead "Bermanisms".

I can't stand him. The fact that he loses his breath after any sentence longer than 10 words, his stupid nicknames, his various forced "back back back back"type catchphrases, and the fact that he dresses like a homeless guy.

He's absolutely the worst thing on ESPN (yes, worse than Morgan and Stephen a Smith.) And if Jim Rome was on ESPN, he'd be worse than Rome too.

Last I checked, Jim Rome is still on ESPN. :-?
