yankees would do that with Wang last year

They mainly brought him in to get big papi out. That and the Yankees have a very depleted bullpen.

Torre sucks with the bullpen, but I see nothing wrong with this given that he's destroyed the pen already.

Pettitte pitched in relief earlier this month and its simply replacing his bullpen session.
