Getting kicked out of a game.

Post by darb48824 »

some how my dad ended up getting tickets to the Boston Yankees game last night and gave them to me so i ended up going to the game which was amazing. Sadly enough though i was thrown out of the game because even though i had done nothing because a bunch of fans behind me were throwing peanuts at a yankees fan the whole game and i was wrongly identified as the culprit. Thing is that they were my dads friends season tickets. are they gonna be any repercussions on his end for having some one get booted from his seats. great game wish i got to see papelbon. I was obviously furious as i pled my case but they werent hearing it and took down all my info and the seat numbers. Can any one help me with this.

Everyone knows you're supposed to throw pizza, not peanuts at baseball games.

that sucks... i highly doubt there will be any repercussions. not like they're gonna strip your dad's friend of his season tickets.

i've actually had a friend "banned" from a stadium when he was there with my tickets. so i think if u just tossed out and they took your info, its just to put it in the system and make sure that you aren't someone who comes to the park and causes problems every week.

I highly doubt that there will be any further consequences. I'm actually somewhat surprised that they didn't come talk to you first before throwing you out. Especially since it was a yankee fan doing the complaining.

Did you try talking to them rationally and explaining what happened?

Sorry to hear you got tossed though. :-/

At least he didn't wear an Orioles' cap and refuse to take it off.

Comparable to heckling Roger McDowell in the bullpen all game and then getting spit on.

If it were AT&T park, they would look at the tapes (every park has every seat on camera), find the exact culprit. If it was not you, no worries. However, if it was found to be you, the first step would be to notify the season ticket holder. Next incident, he would loose the seats.
Hopefully, it wasn't you. It is on camera.

I know of several incidents, just as you have described here where both outcomes have occurred. One where the person was exonerated. Another where the season ticket holder lost there seats because of repeated incidents by someone else abusing their seats.
