Why does he hit 5th some nights and 7th others? Seems like they're switching him around a lot. He's been hitting, so why can't they just let him get comfortable in one spot?

When facing lefties he hits 5th and they drop Pena. When facing righties they give Pena the spot back. He was batting 6th behind Pena for a while until this week.

Pena might be sliding back in the order he's been struggling lately, I actually put Pena on the bench in favor of Young recently.

Because the Rays cant run a team for squat. Delmon should just start hitting 3rd because thats where he will be next season when he is far and away the best hitter they have.

I can't for the life of me understand the rationale involved here either. Batting behind Pena is one thing, but Norton and Wiggy?! Perhaps deerayfan can shed some light on this?

This is how I feel. Why juggle around your best player and mess with his mind/rhythm? I agree he should be hitting 3rd.
