Tulo: Gold Glove Defense, Near 300 AVG 17+ HR's Shortstop
Braun: Great power and Average but horrible defense
Pence: Overall a great player but injured for a while now.

Your just setting yourself up for disappointment Acs! While Tulo has been great he won't hold a candle to Braun in this voting as a guy who could win the batting title and, if he continues at his pace, could be in line for MVP votes. Also your asking this question in a "fantasy" baseball site where offense rules. You can't really expect the outcome to your poll to be anything but 90% votes going to Braun?

Defense won't be a factor when you compare Braun's offensive numbers. If the offensive stats where a little closer, you may be able to change the vote, but I believe Braun will win by a very comfortable margin.

Tulo has 17 HR's and a .300 AVG and 67 RBI's
Braun has 27 hr's and is batting .335 with 62 RBI's (140 Less AB's)

Braun has horrific fielding #'s though while Tulo has the best SS #'s in the NL.

Since baseball isn't just Hitting I think Tulo deserves it more

Fortunately, you are one of the few that see it that way...

Braun leads in Win Shares, 17 to 15, and VORP, 43.6 to 27. Tulo is a good player, but this isn't that much of a question.

Arrogant much.

Anyways Tulo is a gold glove fielder Braun is terrible at 3B.

But if you wanna get into wacky Saber stats Tulo leads Braun in Warp1 WOoooo

TO think this is a cake walk for Braun is pretty lame considering his awful defense and Tulo's stellar defense at a critical position

will Chris B. Young get any run for this award if he continues his hot streak, and if it leads Arizona to winning the division? What Braun has done is amazing for sure, and it would be hard to imagine voters really going away from him, even with the discrepancy in defense between him and Tulo...in the end, those #s are probably just going to be too overwhelming to ignore, right?
