As an owner of Michael Young, this stinks. As a Yankee fan Yippee!!

i dont think it will happen, but if it did, just think, the best player in baseball at one of the thinnest positions. SS was already thin, but 3B was even thinner.

I hate to disagree with you again, but 3B will have some very nice options next year. It's much deeper than many think.

This move would hurt 2B as Soriano would probably move to short.

Soriano would not move to short...MYoung would move to short. He's played there before. But I really don't know why we're discussing this unless its just for kicks...this trade will never happen!

Man..If A-rod plays 3b he'd be the most valuable fantasy player ever in baseball history!

Not that he already isn't!

Think about Soriano in Texas.

Would he ever get another pitch in the strike zone?

His OBP would be below the Mendoza line.

What a way to kill a fantasy stud.

3B goes 6 deep in my mind (chavez, rolen, lowell, glaus, blalock, and ensberg) anybody below that is not gunna be a stellar performer and SS goes about 9 deep with AROD (arod, nomar, tejada, renteria, jeter, cabrera, furcal, matsui, and berroa). All of those guys can and probably will turn in a very good year. Sure its just opinion, but SS is deeper.

I doubt it.

Imagine this lineup:

Soriano
Young
Blalock
Teixera

I don't think he'll be walked that much.
