Someone wipe the tears off Epstein's face.....

Can't you imagine Theo sitting in his basement on this Saturday night drinking his sorrows away??

George just made Theo his ______ (fill in the blank)

Brian Cashman isn't half the Gm Theo is. George would buy Theo in a second if he could...

I am happy, now Nomar Garciaparra is the uncontested greatest shortstop in all of baseball

Theo can't force Boston Ownership to spend money. there is nothing he can do about that. Anyone who thinks Cashman is a better GM than Theo is either a yankee fan or a fool.

Cashman is nothing more than a puppet. George pulls the strings....

If Theo (or anyone for that matter) were in NY, they'd be likewise.

what has he dont to prove it? he got schilling and 2nd in the AL. and cashman isnt the GM of the yankees anymore, Big Stein is. Cashman is nothing but a figurehead who is there to take the blame when things go wrong(Pettite)

Maybe if you actually realized there was baseball outside of the Bronx he would see what Epstein has done. Before last season he brought in great players such as Millar and Ortiz for very little money. And throughout the season he acquired bullpen help that was vital to Boston's success. And also with Schilling, Theo personally convinced him to join the Red Sox. Has Cashman ever convinced any free agents to come to NY using any other methods besides George's blank checks. Didn't think so.

First of all Theo wasn't the GM of the Red Sox in the mid 90's. And I wasn't arguing better team I was arguing better GM, which Theo obviously is.
