Cafe Challenge Draft Results

Postby mrmarley » Wed Feb 25, 2004 4:41 pm

Erboes was discussing posting the results for the draft in the rotoguys thread...Here's a link for anyone interested. It's 5x5, 12 team, Roto:

Cafe Challege Draft

Hopefully no one has any issues with me posting this...keep in mind, TheKing was having issues with his comp/internet connection which is the explanation for the 1st pick of the 3rd round.

I thought it was a great draft and should be a very competitive season with some fellow members from the caf ;-D

What happened, Mikcou? That's the first thing that jumped out at me! Actually, I used Loretta a good bit in 2003, after my draft pick, Roberto Alomar, :-t faltered, and you know there's not a lot of good 2B after the draft is done. Loretta surprised me and I was relatively pleased. But the beginning of the 3rd round? Before Marcus Giles and Jose Reyes?

I think it was a combination of Yahoo, his comp, and the internet connection all actin strangely...and mikcou's incredible fascination with Loretta...j/k ;-)

Mikcou, you can show us all up by winning even with that 3rd rd pick though ;-D

Loretta in the 3rd? 8-o

Pierre and Crawford back to back in the 4th is interesting too.

It's interesting that they're that early. It would be more interesting if the same fantasy team got both of them back-to-back in the snake draft.

I saw Crawford go and thought "what the hell, why not" and drafted Pierre. I was choosing between Pierre and whoever my 5th round pick was, so it worked out anyway.

Some people aren't good at reading (cough.. madison..), and the funny thing is, Eric might be half serious.
I'm 'the baseball players' in there.
