The odds of the AL MVP coming from the American League are looking pretty good.

He batted 2nd a lot last year and it certainly didn't impact on his numbers greatly. Batting in that spot will only increase his steal totals. He is going to have Sweeney and Juan Gon following him this year as well which is a big difference.

beltran is going to change a bit as a player if he hits 2 hole all season, going from incredible power/speed combo to excellent power and amazing speed/runs. he is top 5 in my book wherever he hits in the lineup

If I was drafting Beltran for RBIs, then Id be concerned a bit - otherwise he goes ahead of Helton in my rankings.
