Dimitri Young is pretty large

and Shawn Wooten has become one giant tub of fat

If anyone saw this week's "Real Sports" with Bryant Gumbel on HBO, the last 30-game winner in MLB had a HUGE gut. He gained so much weight that he had to retire at age 28. Now, he's a fat monster.

Denny McClain, the fatass is in jail now for fraud.[/quote]

McClain is out of jail right now. The guy is a worthless waste of flesh and bones. He defrauded numerous senior citizens out of their savings, goes to jail (a few different sentences for his offenses), comes out the last times and EXPECTS some radio station to give him a job as a sports commentator. This bastard ought to be working for minimum wages for the way he's treated people.

By the way, I'd like to add Gates Brown, one of McClain's teammates, to the team as the main PH off of the bench.

How was Kirby so quick when he was so large? He stole 134 bases in his career. Granted most were in his earlier days, but towards the end he had a handful per season. He has to be the rotundest CF on record.

My addition to the list: The aged Tony Gwynn.

Babe Ruth 6'2 220 123-SB

Kirby Puckett 5'8 215 134-SB

Need I say more? :-D

Ernie Lombardi was wone of the greatest "Fat" players and one of the greatest hitting catchers of all time. He is only one of two catchers to ever win a batting title and he won two of them!! He was so fat and slow that the infielders would play 20-25 behind the infield!

How about some love for the chubby Ruben Quevedo?

I know that Mo Vaughn was already mentioned but Greg was no lightweight either!

Not overly fat but what about Pedro Guerrero? Just caught a little bit of "Rookie of the Year" on HBO not too long ago and there was Pedro Guerrero with his jeri-curl glistening in the sun!
