Love him as well, and I've heard next to nothing about him. I have in my 6x6 that counts batter K's... :-L

Hopefully this is the year that Conor hits more than 16 damn HR's . I wonder how many HR's do people actually project this guy to hit though?

I doubt Conor hits more than 20 this year. Maybe he'll hit 25 in his peak but he is mainly a line drive hitter.

My life for him this year is 300/17/80/80/and a handful of steals. Could outperform Runs and RBIs depending on his line-up spot. Good player to have in 5 OF leagues or as a CI spot (as another poster said).
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

He's one guy I'm pretty bullish on this year.

308-18-90-90-8

I will be reaching a round or 2 to get him.

someone high on Travis Snider could be disappointed this season. for one the kid is only 21 years old with limited minor league experience.
his 2008 numbers with Toronto are overrated. with his .301 AVG he had .417 BABIP with 34.6 LD% plus 31.5 K%. IMO he strikes out too much to continually have an AVG above .300. i know he did it through the minors, but hes also had a very high BABIP through the minors with tons of K's.
he does have power potential, but in a full season right now id put him close to .250/.260 AVG.. but if he makes the team early on and struggles he could be sent back down for a couple months.

IMO he should start the season in the minors and come up during the season, similar to Jay Bruce last season.

in the future he has alot of potential, but not in 2009.
