Not in the lineup today..

Not only not in the line-up, but goes 0-1 pinch hitting, thus pissing me off! Stinking wasted game out of my MI slot! :-t
Get your heads outta ya rears Rockies, and start this kid! !+)

Now that Stewart is batting .239, is everyone still as high on him? It seems that his high K rate is catching up to him (which was predicted by several people in this thread).

I'm still high on him as a 30 HR guy (given FT AB's) with a .265-.275 avg if that is what you are asking. The high K rate that I mentioned earlier in the thread is just what prevents him from being the next Utley with a .290-.310+ BA on a yearly basis.

2 bombs tonight with 5 RBI's so far. Are we ever going to see this guy get every day at bats.

i hate his game tonight!!! ive been trying to steal him from his manager in my $ league and i was getting close! now hes prolly gonna hold onto him! if stewart can get fulltime ABs, hes got 20 HR 80 RBIs written all over him and from a 2B/3B, thats golden!!

Imagine if you had him in your MI spot all season and decided this week an hour before the deadline on your friends laptop to bench him for Yunel Escobar.

Yunel is having a nice week. 6 for 12 with 6 runs and an RBI. :-D

But that is the problem with guys like Stewart (similar to Chris Davis in some ways) is that they are streaky and you don't know when they will go off. I was lucky and started Stewart this week but I've missed most of Swisher's good days for the same reason.

Added Ian Stewart. A 2B/3B with 7 HR nice enough for me.
