I might be misremembering but I believe those were the preliminary results for the research presented here. The later work is better since it weights the 3 stats based on their effect on predicted ERA so it should be more accurate. Since those are updated everyday on The Hardball Times its probably a more useful resource.

Thornton and Soriano have been awesome for me in my league that counts k/9! ;-D

Could Hughes flourish in the pen and post big time K/9 numbers?

Could he go all Joba 07 on us?
