Greg Miller to have surgery.

"Dodgers prospect Greg Miller will have arthroscopic surgery next week to determine what is wrong with his throwing shoulder.
This is why it was a bad idea to label Miller the game's elite pitching prospect going into the season. He's definitely as talented as anyone else out there, but his shoulder could be a major issue going forward."

This is why I take prospect hitters over pitchers (no matter how talented).

yeah have a prospect draft coming up and this helps my decision. even though i heard them call it just "exploratory", which i believe means they are going in to see what is wrong since the mri's haven't shown anything. and even though they don't think it is serious, i still would be careful w/ him now. he hasn't been able to throw since the injury at the end of last season i believe, when he was diagnosed w/ tendinitis...also it's in his throwing shoulder which can't be good. i hope for his sake it is nothing big, but unless i hear great news i am taking someone else in my prospect draft. pretty sure i am going to get rios now.
