He tore a rotator cuff in his throwing/batting shoulder. He was expected to make his first start last Wednesday. He went 2-3 with a HR and 3 RBI. I recommend picking him. ;-D

march 11-Jody Gerut made his first start in right field this spring on Wednesday, though he didn't have a chance to test the shoulder that troubled him last season with any throws, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.-->rototimes

I'd be real nervous about Gerut. This injury occured at the end of last season, and he opted to not have surgery. It's a torn rotatur cuff.....I doubt he can repeat last year's numbers playing through this injury this year.
