ADP: 222

For those of you unfamiliar with what he did last year;

504 AB, 84 Runs, 162 Hits, 31 2B, 9 HR, 47 RBI, 53 BB, 8 SB, 321 Avg., 850 OPS.

Cons:
-He had an unsustainable 40% hit percentage the second half of the year when he hit .359, so the .321 AVG is probably not going to happen again.

-8/13 SB is not very promising

-Only has OF eligibilty next season

Pros:

-Has an excellent batting eye for his experience level. Has never had more K's than BB's in the minor leagues. 4 pitches per plate apperance last year.
-Will hit lead-off
-Has shown decent speed in the minors (34 SB in 2008) and will definately improve upon his 8 SB
-Only 25 years old (start of next season)

Thoughts:
Keep on eye on the Uggla situation as this may impact whether or not Coghlan moves to 2B, thus increasing his value drastically.

Projections: .295, 95 Runs, 13 HR, 15 SB, 65 BB.

I will be avoiding unless he get 2B eligibility back. He has no plus skills that make him a decent OF option outside of deep leagues.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!
