Thoughts on Sean Rodriguez?

I dropped S-Rod to get Leake in for a start on Sunday. I'm keeping Leake now for his next start vs. PIT. S-Rod is a waste of time for now. I hope I haven't attracted too much attention to him by adding and dropping him in my league. He might take off yet with semi-regulat at-bats, or certainly more than he's getting now. I'll be watching him closely.

reid brignac is starting to scare me. :-o

if he continues to impress when he is given starts, he wil continue to be in a strict platoon with s-rod. guess its going to come down to who slumps first because either of these guys could really run away with the 2b job (or sean can play RF as well). and so far it is sean with the slow start and brignac with a fast start. i like both these kids and given full-time at bats i think both can be successful but its a shame that only 1 starting spot is available. wish they would cut burrell and start s-rod at DH everyday. :-X

i wonder how many Sean Rodriguez owners are dropping Rodriguez to pick up Brignac. i would laugh if that happened, then Rodriguez gets picked up by someone else and Rodriguez ends up going on to get more playing time/producing ending up being the Zobrist of 2010.

Don't hold your breath on that one! You're asking an awful lot to have the Rays get that kind of luck again.

looks like a platoon going on even though Rodriquez hasnt even started against all lefties, he sat vs CC on Saturday.

dump time, grabbing Garcia or Leake since I need a new pitcher with CYoung going on DL

Rodriguez batting in the 2 spot tonight. was 0 for 3 before getting hit in the 5 run 8th.
tomorrow is a day game, im thinking Brignac will get that start. Brignac seems to be hitting better.
i dropped Rodriguez tonight, but i needed someone to fill in starting tomorrow for Rollins

it was still surprising to see him get a start in the 2 spot with the numbers he has had.
today he got the start in the leadoff spot and went 1 for 4 with a single in the 8th.
Brignac got the start today at SS instead of Bartlet and also went 1 for 4.
im sure they will continue to split time at 2B for now.
