I just traded him straight up for Javy Vasquez. I think I did great, as my OF already has the likes of Cruz, Kemp, Either, Vlad. Thoughts? Did I make out better or worse for a 2nd half run?

With that OF, I think you did just fine.

Average is down to .305. O:-)

In his defense he's continued to hit the ball hard and has still been drawing walks. He's definitely slumping, there's no denying that, but he hasn't really looked that bad at the plate lately IMO.

I'm not blind. I know what his numbers are and I know he's struggling. He's still putting solid wood on the ball in the majority of his at-bats though. It's not like a slump wasn't expected anyways.

Again....his numbers have been awful but he's really not playing THAT badly. He struggled mightily against TB, but in the Boston series he was literally inches foul from hitting a homer and was robbed on diving catches at least twice. I think he'll be coming out of this slump pretty soon. Might be stretching it a bit, but in deeper leagues he might be a solid buy low candidate given his spot in the lineup behind Miggy Jesus.

Packaged him with Posada (had Posey) for Torii Hunter. Boesch was doing absolutely nothing for me.
