Can you win without an Ace?

Can you win a league without a true ace? For example:

C. Zambrano
Wakefield
Sabathia
Moyer
Miller
Affeldt

If you have a great offense, yes. If not, you may want to see who you can get w/o giving up too much. Zambrano and Moyer a re good, but they are not aces.

That's not too bad an offense (5 OF's?), but You may want to trade someone like Edmonds for a good pitcher. I don't think that team as it is would give you a first-place finish, but you could place.

I reccomend you trade one of your OF's for a good pitcher.

I agree, your offense is great but you could use another SP. I think you can get a decent SP for Edmonds.

I would try to trade one of your speedy OFs for a good starting pitcher.

Wait, Moyer ISN'T the ace?
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Interesting...Crawford and Pierre will be fast, but they kill your power.

Try to see what you can get in terms of either a pitcher or power for Pierre, since he tends to be overrated this year. Or, try to swap Renteria for Tejada, though you'd have to give a little in that case. The line-up is definitely very potent, though.

Are you playing roto, 4X4? 5X5? H2H? This would give us a better idea as to how your team might do?
