Boesch has cut somewhat into Raburn's playining time but Raburn has been sick the last few days.

That's good to know! Raburn did get into the game later today, hitting a ground-rule double in his first of 2 at-bats, so that was encouraging too.

It's pretty clear right now that Maddon has zero confidence in Srod against RHP. I think Zobrist and Joyce could both get hurt and they will still find away to sit him vs. righties.

Dropped Raburn for Joel Peralta today. I've got A-Hill at 2B and my OF is stacked so I'm taking a chance on Peralta

Its a risky move knowing that Boesch can have appendectomy any time.

Sean Rodriguez/Ryan Raburn playing time

I dropped Raburn today. Picked up Luke Scott of WW today. Just needed somebody to fill a utility spot.

Maddon is an idiot. S Rod has a 1.128 Ops and he can't crack a lineup with Fuld, E. Johnson, D. Johnson, C. Kotchman and F. Lopez. Here's a guy that could actually be part of your future and he's stalling his developement for these bums.

At worse he could match these guys productions, while getting more adept to hitting righties. All the while giving you above average D wherever he plays.

I think that's it...I have to cut ties with S-Rod. I'm already 20 games played behind the league leader and this is not helping. :-[

Rodriguez is a lot like Raburn, doesn't add any value defensively and doesn't hit RHP enough to play every day against them. These guys should be utility players until they learn how to hit every day vs RHP and that is how they are being used.

Rodriguez is an excellent at second, and serviceable everywhere else. Way better defensively than Raburn.

Well sure, everyone is way better than Raburn defensively. I wouldn't call Rodriquez excellent though, he seems to be a pretty average defensive player which is why I said he doesn't add value. I don't watch a ton of Rays so maybe I just haven't seen him on his good nights though, defense is so hard to judge without a huge sample so you can use stats.
