Seems like a good guy to have on your bench, especially a 20 teamer. I want to pick him up but I can't decide weather or not I should drop Chris Davis for him. I'm really hoping Davis gets dealt to a team that will give him full time at bats within the next month.

I tried to pick him up in my 14 tam league, to replace Stephan Drew, for probably another week or so, only to find out Willie Friggin Bloomquist doesn't yet quaify at SS :-[

I'm wondering if he'll see much time in the OF when Drew comes back.
He could take some time away from Parra maybe.

Your title really summed it up. He's Willie FRIGGIN Bloomquist!

That being said, you're in a 20-team league, so no harm done. But if a stud prospect gets called up, swap for him right away.

Good luck! ;-D

Why? Why drop him? Ride the wave.

He led off AGAIN last night, even with Drew back, and had two more hits, two more runs, and an rbi. He'll easily steal 30 is he gets the PT.

In deep leagues he could provide a cheap 30 steals if he keeps getting playing time. Considering the hole that is 3B for the D-backs (and LF isn't so hot either), I could see him getting 400 or 500 ABs. That said, he won't stay quite this hot. I agree with others to ride the wave, but also look to take advantage of him in deals if people start believing in him too much. I plan on nominating him early in my NL-Only draft just because I think a bunch of people will plan on getting him for a buck or two, and they might end up overspending early.

hell yah I picked him up after game 1 and have had him as my UT since. Definately helping to overcome Youk, Pagan (at least he runs), Uggla and Rios.

I think hes gonna start at least 5-6 times a week while hes hot.
