5.2 IP, 4 BB, 13 K, 4 ER.

I missed today's start. Box score indicates he cruising until the 5th inning until he started to lose command but I'm not sure of the details. Happy with the punchouts, but disappointed overall after how today's outing started. He's 1-1 for quality starts so far, to be fair to all camps. ;-)

I think ESPN's bottom line noted he was only the 4th pitcher with 13 or more strikeouts with less than 6 innings pitched in the past 90 years... or something like that.

Didn't Greinke have a similar line to this last year, as far as the IP and K go.

Welp, Todd Frazier just hit one 480 off the boat in CF at GAB. Cubs down 1-0 now, so that's another loss for Shark...sigh.

Where is everyone at with Samardzija? If you look under the hood, all of his peripherals and PITCHf/x numbers look good. FB velo is still 95, he's throwing his slider at 23% compared to 20% last season. I'm a believer, but I know others say sell midseason. What type of hitter would he command in a trade? Buying, selling or holding ROS?

I was very high on F7 after owning him last season. The is absolutely legit. Other than the hair, nothing looks out of whack. I am holding in all leagues where I was lucky enough to draft him ... which was most of them.

I'd hold him. Comparable hitters though, hmmm... Freeman/Rios/Zobrist/Crawford/Phillips. Something like that. 3.5 ERA, 1.2 WHIP, 9+ K/9, That's elite, very similar to Chris Sale or Max Scherzer. Obviously Scherzer has the benefit of the Tigers offense, though.
