Yeah, he's looked really bad in the field the last couple of days.

It couldn't have been half as bad as the defense of the Mets. At least Cameron tried to redeem himself with a home run...not enough, though.

that is what you get when you put a 1b in the outfield

oh well, at least the Reds took 2 out of 3 from the LL (lovable LOSERS)

dunn has always just been a decent OF, seems people are just noticing cause of the cubs playing them. in all due respect though it happens, chipper and cameron made a bad play tonight. and even if it does happen, it's usually an error so it really doesn't hurt you pitcher.

the one that day was counted as a hit and it increases the chances of giving up runs when you drop a fly ball since the hitter willmost likely end up at 2nd or 3rd. graves 2 saves is rather nice though, and against the best paper team in baseball (according to somobomb)

true, but that being sad, they are usually errors. but to be worried about a pitcher on that team seems uncalled for. there are bad fielders all over the league, this was just brought to attention cause he played in broadcasted games lately. he usually isn't that bad, though of course he isn't that great.

No, misplayed balls by outfielders are rarely called errors. The only time you will see an error called is if the ball actually touches the glove and even then that is not a given (i.e. patterson and griffey in that very series during the same game misjudging line drives to center).

your right about that, but to me i thought the person complaining about his fielding was more or less talking about that one that was in his glove ("dropping routine fly balls"). anyways he alligatored the other one cause he wasn't aware of the wall, just like chipper and other OF's have done. if you watched the worst top 10 on espn you realize that everyone has bad plays. it's just that they usually never make the highlight reel.
