Postby CubsFan7724 » Thu Apr 08, 2004 11:46 pm

What are your bright spots in this week? For me, its been Vlad Guerreo, Mark Texieriea, and Corey Patterson. Vlad is batting above .400, with 4 runs, a homer, and 5 Rbis. Tex has 2 runs, a homer, and 3 rbis. Corey has 2 runs, a rbi, and .429 average.

pudge, kent, podsednik are all playing really well for me.

my free agent pitcher pickup for today was Jeff D'amico and he freakin went 7 ip 1.29 era 4ks and a win. not bad for a one day pickup.

It's funny, I've been viewing Vlad as a disappointment, along with Brian Giles. That's what happens when you stack Big Bad Vlad against Craig "The Mullet" Wilson. Man, keep it up Craig. You and Glaus and Nevin can take me to the top! !+)

Pods, Vlad, Sexson (only 2 hits but 2 homers & were BIG)

Beckett & Garcia both no decisions, but looked real good

I'd have to say:

Dye 2 Runs/2 HR's/5 RBI's
Kent 1 Run/1 HR's/6 RBI's

and Especially

D-Train: 7.2 IP/1 W/ 8K/0.00 ERA/ .78WHIP

Nice start to the season!

Get your cast nets ready because this thread is going to be filled with the Mullet man. Craig Wilson has been a huge pick up for me so far. Also, Kevin Brown has been the savior of my pitching staff.

2 hitters:
Wilson - i just hope he keeps starting
Dye - starting to like bounce back years more and more

2 pitchers:
Garcia - looks like his old ace-self against a team that had been tearing a apart a good pitching staff, here is to hoping is continues
;-D

Bonderman - if you look at his box score line it really doesn't do this young kid justice. after the first inning he went 4 1/3 1H 1BB 0ER 8K's before wells hit a liner off his leg. quite dominating against a very good jays line-up.
