Soriano is as streaky of a player as you will find. If you can hang on through his slow times...he has the ability to carry your team for a couple weeks also.

Have you ever heard of Devi Cruz, the ex Tiger great. Well Soriano is Cruz, but with more power and speed. They both like to hack those weeds.

He 'blew' so much b/c he played a bunch of games against one of the best pitching teams in the league. Now, against a 'normal' team, he's apparently stopped 'blowing' and is performing about as we'd expect him to. Check back in a couple of weeks and see how he's doing. He'll be fine...

I'm tired of the string of posts like this. Since he was your numbah
one pick, I guess that means you blow. Beltran and Vlady were my
number one picks, and I would never whine about them.

Sori's gonna go through slumps - it's just he can be so damn spectacular when he's on, that when he's off he's really off.

If you trade him, wait until you are at least the beneficiary of one of his hot streask so you know what you have before you let it go.

do not even think of trading your #1 pick in the first week. its a 162 game season, and Soriano is straky. He'll produce soon.
