Curt Schilling is about the only pitcher I would start against the Yankees.

I like the "better to be safe than sorry" approach.

I benched him but Buehrle looks good today. Pretty good start for someone that I drafted late and wasn't too high on.

i started him... even tho i was pretty skeptical... thought it was another one of those deadly brain farts... but its paying off right now... go Buehrle !!!
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

I started him, with the reasoning that, with the why my staff sucks right now (mussina, pineiro, closers who've been lit) if he doesn't do well, no harm done, i'm already in the cellar. Boy, I'm happy I did:

8 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 0 ER, 4 K's.

Second straight solid start....starting to feel glad that I kept him. Sucks the Yankees had to lose for me to win--but dem's da breaks!!

earlier in another similar post i was talking about how buehrle would stifle the yankees offense, and i was right. The "mighty" yankees offense have the worst battin average in baseball. Serves them right.
